DESCRIPTION:This meeting is virtual. For more information please check the 
	meeting agenda. A SHAC is a school board appointed advisory group of indiv
	iduals who represent different segments of the community. By law\, a major
	ity of the members must be persons who are parents of students enrolled in
	 the district and who are not employed by the district. The AISD SHAC is m
	ade up of parents\, community members\, students\, and school staff workin
	g together to improve the health of all students and families through coor
	dinated school health programs. Texas law requires all school districts to
	 have a SHAC. Learn more about SHAC Bylaws. The AISD School Health Advisor
	y Council meets on a Wednesday of every month\, with the exception of July
	 and August\, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. Meetings will be held in a training ro
	om at the new AISD Headquarters located at 4000 S. IH-35 Frontage Road\, 7
	8704 unless otherwise noted. Membership to the SHAC is by annual school bo
	ard appointment. Meetings are open to all interested persons please see th
