The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø ISD community will be coming together Saturday to help build picnic tables to support outdoor lunches and learning.
Students are at lower risk of COVID-19 transmission when they eat or learn outside, so ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø ISD organized the event for community members to help build tables for campuses to use as outdoor lunch or learning spaces.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø ISD is expecting about 30 volunteers who will work in an assembly line to create the tables. Tables will be prioritized for campuses in areas with the highest COVID-19 rates in the city.
Masks will be required at this event.
