Through sustainable design, the district creates learning environments that benefit students, staff, the community, and taxpayers for years to come.
Certification
Since 2004, all new schools and major renovations have pursued nationally recognized green building certifications through and/or . By the end of 2028, AISD expects to have 64 certified green buildings, supported largely through the 2017 and 2022 bond programs.
